Different ways to find wellness

Depending on what you are searching for, there are different ways to find more wellbeing. It’s out there for everyone, but one thing that is difficult is change. It’s said that it takes about 60 days to change a habit, and while this is true, there are still things you can start with sooner.

You might be looking for:

  • a therapist to
    • deal with sorrow
    • deal with trauma
    • learn more about relationships
    • set boundaries
    • … and more
  • a nutrition guide
  • holistic wellness
  • yoga and meditation, or other exercises

Understanding yourself

If you follow a teaching of any sort, this is usually one of the first steps to learn. We say that what is on the inside, is mirrored on the outside. This one has given me many thoughts, many times. There is a difference between what is out there, what we see, and then we sometimes wonder why.
Many business coaches urge about the need for speed when it comes to company building, but this couldn’t further from the truth when it comes to learning about yourself. These contrasts are intriguing. What do you do to learn about yourself, you sit in quietness… you meditate… you find your inner peace.
By doing this, you also connect to your inner self and find your inner voice, among other things.

Limiting beliefs

When you have flow, it’s easy to feel that the whole world out there is open for adventures, and all that you need. It’s when you have come across obstacles that the place changes, the world was not what you felt or thought it to be. That’s when you need to get to the next block, and it’s not always so easy.

The first steps

You can work with beliefs in many ways, and this is partially where therapists, life coaches and others can come handy because they give you suggestions on how to change your view on things. Views are so important, and that’s why we have ethics and morals, but it’s not always people believe in them and then step on other peoples toes.

So, what do you do? First you identify what you need to work on, some people like to journal to figure this out. Some people work from what they want to attain in the future, but this also needs to be anchored and tailored to one’s real needs and wants, or one is chasing something one doesn’t know what it is for oneself.

Stepping stone

When you know what you would like to achieve, you may look at others who are ahead of you and see, or perhaps ask how they got there. All of these things are easier with support, with someone cheering you on, and that you feel worthy of achieving the success you also desire.

Spiritual path

For those called to a spiritual path, there will be a direction towards this, and when not acknowledged properly many challenges may lay ahead. This is especially true when you look at the path of those called to shamanism. In the Western world much of our beliefs in the spirit side of things have diminished. We like to place trust on the mind and logic.

Finding a place of heart and kindness is one step towards more peace.
