– Care for a tea?
I realize that habits is a great way to make changes, it supposed to take 60 days to make a new change… and how do we start? Do you have 15 minutes? No? 5 minutes? Then perhaps 3, or perhaps only 30 seconds? It can start with, for example, a morning change or evening. A meditation in the morning or evening to start your day? A glass of water in the morning, as it’s quite common to get dehydrated during the night? Implement a yoga routine to get energized and feel more balance? The idea is to start somewhere, and then find how it feels good so that you continue and later can make it a habit.
So, what about the tea? I’m trying to make a new tea habit and exchange one of my favorite coffee drinking pauses with a tea because, well, coffee is healthy in its own way but tea as well. I was reading about Chamomile the other day and found what felt like a million reasons to start drinking more chamomile. It went back to my childhood memories of drinking either this tea or also beautifully red colored rosehip tea.
When I read online, about the tea, since I’m not the expert, I find information that the tea helps with:
– finding stillness in the mind
– digestion
– inflammation
– cholesterol
– anxiety
