We live in a world where fast pace is sometimes cherished, but it’s also good to occasionally slow down. Moving too fast can cause stress, anxiety and fatigue amongst things. Catch your breath with yoga for wellness. There are many kinds to choose from – raja yoga (the royal path), yin yoga (slow and stretching out theme), kriya yoga (breathing exercises and inner energy work), kundalini yoga and so much more.

Yoga integrates the mind, body and spirit – but the various yoga directions have different aims along the way. They can be more or less calming, energy enhancing and spiritual in nature. Naturally the different poses enhance flexibility. The tensions loosen up and you release energy. Some yoga directions such as hatha yoga are more intense and work even more with circulation. Though, the pace may also depend on the teacher, so it’s worth trying out before making decisions on which kind you prefer.

The sun salute, it’s a typical exercise in yoga that you can do for yourself in the convenience of your own home. Here is a video with the sun salutation, also called Surya Namaskar, on YouTube. When you do the cobra, as in the picture, it really stretches out the neck and releases tensions there nicely.

If you rather exercise through virtual online classes, they have proven to help with backpain and therefore also a reduction in intake of medicine. This particular study was made by Cleveland Clinic.

At the moment I am working on creating a space for yoga and reiki. One of the things I am waiting for and ordered, is a cute crystal tree from Amazon (affiliate link). Can’t wait for this to get here, and some other stuffs. If you are in need of reiki, reach out to us. This is donation based.
