Finding wellness and mindset through trauma

Can you become stronger after trauma? Definitely. Does it pain some people for years? I have seen many posts where people don’t deal with their pain due to lack of knowledge, and live with it. Can it be transformed? Yes, it can. So, why don’t we? It takes a lot of courage to admit having trauma, but this doesn’t seem to be the most difficult part, even if it takes time to acknowledge and realize, that maybe you need some help from others with this. Sharing is caring. I love this phrase. Why? Sharing does help, it makes you feel less alone in your struggle, finding others that might have gone through the same thing. Have you done that too? You see… it is a process, and there are actually many steps on the path to take. Have you expressed what your heart wants to express? How? Enough? Here is a tricky part to it because, well, trauma does not have a timeline. It will take time if something is very painful… others may want you to be done with your pain because, well, life is also about creating beautiful things as well. Art has been an outlet for many people, setting new goals, finding a bigger cause. Usually, there is a cause for things to happen… were there things that weren’t acknowledged? Finding answers can take time and be difficult, finding new routines after having lost someone can take time… but if it is possible? Yes.

The beauty of change, is that it transforms, and if someone very caring was lost to the other side, you know what, do you think they want you to feel pain and sorrow, or do you think they would much more likely want to look down from up there and see you happy? Maybe show others, what was shown to you. Kindness is sometimes such a rarity today. I have come across people with vast different mindsets. Some are very focused on end results and forget to live in the now. Some will step on toes, but what happens the day they fall down? Will others support them, or step on their toes too? Is Karma out there? Have we lost the ways of acknowledging a spiritual world? Yes.

To summarize:
– Work on your connections
– Find outlets, such as training, expression of art and similar
– Find others in the same situation, if possible
– Share, care, believe
– Find a new purpose
– What do you love doing? What did you love to do as a child?
– Set time off for yourself, to care for yourself, it can be a walk in the forest, a new haircut or other.
– Some people make affirmations, others pray for a change.

There are actually many more things that may be added to this list, but those are some of the things that help. If there are blockages, you may want to work with someone on this, for example, if the pain does not leave. In some cases, there is a spiritual cause.

Take care of yourself 💛
