This is something I think everyone should learn, because this is what I most commonly see as a difference between being used to photograph in various angels and not, perhaps being a more beginner or just haven’t been digging into this parameter.
It is common to put what you want to photograph in the center in the start, but as you start to experiment with positioning, things start to happen for you as well. There is movement, direction, height, and many different rules that helps you create what you want in photography – in order to express “feelings”, “movement”, “stillness”, “relationships between objects” etc.
What you want to do to make a picture more appealing is to place what you are photographing on the intersection points. If you want to go deeper into this, learn also about the golden ratio. It has a ratio of 1 to 1.618, the form of a shell, you want to place something for example in the inner shellpart..
What is the difference between Fibonacci sequence and Golden ratio? It seems explained here, and if I read it correctly the relationship is the same, not initially but after the number 12.
