What is your thought on elementals? They personify our elements – water, fire, earth and wind (air).
The water is associated with Undines, spirit helpers that help to heal the soul and understand our feelings and emotions. They also help us to develop our spiritual abilities. Are you aware of the wonderful book of water and its crystals that was captured by Emoto Masauru? He would do experiments on how water reacted to different feelings and capture the outcome in different crystals. He would pray, sing to and also speak with bad words to the water, and later capture or photograph the crystallization of the crystals.
Something perhaps a little closer to us, as a comparison, is how words affect us.
A droplet of water may start so much, it’s often about the start. If you currently aren’t reading, start reading five or fifteen minutes a day, and you’ll see how you are going to want to increase that. But if not, somewhere here we can also talk about motivation. What is our true motivation? How many layers down is it, or are we already living our true self and are happy about our lives?
Undines are mentioned by the Paracelsus, who lived in the medieval times, and was a botanist as well as alchemist, nature philosopher and mystique. They are of lakes, oceans and waterfalls.
We, as humans, are supposedly composed of stardust, and as that also of the four elements plus soul. We are 80% (or around) consisting of water, which is one of the reasons why the moon and tides affect us so much.
Not all people have an animistic view, but trying it out if you don’t, you may start to feel better.
A droplet of giving something away is also giving, but it not only starts with droplets on the ocean for others, it’s also beneficial for yourself as it additionally is a way to feel better for yourself, making a contribution to the world. In a way, my writing here is in this way because also, seeing it from a different view, animistic instead of Western, helps with feelings such as not feeling seen, emptiness and disconnection. In the bottom, it is both about ourselves and our connection to nature. You don’t have to look far to find articles that scientifically prove nature as medicine. Already a reality in some countries.
If you want to read more on nature as a prescription, I found these articles:
Nature Connection Guide Doctors -Prescribe Nature
Prescriptions Shetland Islands
There is the saying “Ask, and it is given”, this is good to remember with healing too. Don’t try to find all answers by yourself, talk to your friends and community. I guess I wanted to write about Undines and touched on other subjects too. Hopefully, you enjoyed either way!
