I remember getting a camera when I was a few years old, I would put my cozy teddy bears next to each other and photograph them.. I still have the photos.. though, photography has never been a certain, specific route for me.. I studied photography because I had the chance and thought it would be something that always is useful and good to know.. and along the way the saying “A photo says more than a thousand words” came to be proven many times.
What is your personal touch or magic in imaging?
I have been to photography courses where I’ve had possibiities to explore my own personal style and listen to how other great photographers have found and developed theirs.
Key in photography is to keep personal style, even as you develop photography for what others want, to keep that burning fire going of making what you love, passion.
Photography Week is soon ending on Creative Live, and I’ve watched what others do. Yesterday was a great class on both how to make painterly photographs and I love flowers, as well as how to make them more dramatic – adding different light sources in editiing – stream of light, light flares or sun burst, hazy light and also how to match it in, as well as changing the sky. I need to try some of this out!
How did you yourself go about exploring your style?
Where you courageos enough to start your company without having all set, because when all is perfect you have waited a bit too long, whatever that means.. you have to follow the opportunities as they come.
Is there someone out there who is interested in collaboration?
The birds are singing,
I’m listening to my <3
That’s the start
Because this society has lost it’s touch with the essence
Trying to rely on mind
But Spirit is not of only that kind
We are mind, body and Spirit
And thus we need to take all in account
That’s why there are so many wounds out there
So much to heal
It’s not about getting real
It’s about the real deal
It’s about following your inner fire and glow
To let it show
Whatever comes your Way
To stay safe in yourself and glow
Time to let it show
It can take a while to figure out your own style.. but something I like a lot is natural light, that is for sure, so maybe that’s what I should aim for.. Personal style is further found in colours, angles, source of light, composition, distance to what is being photographed, if you’re fond of after editing or not etcetera, so there are many parameters that make up the personal style!
